HIRE PERIOD
Skips from Skip Hire London can be hired for as long as required by customer, though contact is made monthly, at a time of convenience, through one of the support team.
SKIP PERMITS
All skips are required to be placed on private land, however, if private land is not available to yourself, and your skip must be placed on the public highway, a skip hire permit will be required. Additional charges enforced by any relevant local authority will be applied in such a case, in addition to the cost of the skip hire. Charges for skip hire permits, and their enforcement vary regionally.
All permits are chargeable to the customer, and in the event the permit is declined by the local authority, the charge is non-refundable.

PROHIBITED MATERIALS, NOT TO BE PLACED IN THE SKIP
Items which can’t be thrown into a skip, also known as hazardous materials, are those which may potentially cause harm to the environment or damage the health of individuals involved in its sorting. These regulation updates came into effect in March 2011 and have become legal waste regulations.

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
You are not required to be present for the delivery of your skip (unless you specifically want to ensure its placement), which will occur between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm.
Please ensure the location of is accessible for a skip lorry, and clear from obstruction for delivery and eventual collection.
Important Information
Once the skip has been delivered, it is in the position of the hirer and should not be moved from the location. The skip will remain the responsibility of the hirer until it is collected.
Please ensure the drop off and collection location is clear on the day.
Ensure you do not overfill the skip, level filling is recommended.
